RealPage is seeking a entry level software engineer that is interested in learning Ruby on Rails to support our Marketing Platform suite of products. We are seeking an individual with a technical degree that is a recent graduate or intern. You should have a strong work ethic, a commitment to learning, excellent communication skills and a background in applying your problem solving skills to software development problems. As a Dev I position, specific language experience (Ruby) is not required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior team members to analyze user requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, well-designed code that is testable, efficient, and maintainable.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Follow team guidelines and seek assistance from senior team members when needed.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in web development and continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• B.Tech/ B.E /BS degree in CS or related field. 
• Minimum 0-2 years of experience in any Programming Language, Preferably ROR. 
• Experience in any Code Management Systems like Git, GitHub, TFS. 
• Should have used development tools like Eclipse or IntelliJ or Visual Studio or any other development tool. 
• Should have knowledge in DB Normalization and SQL Querying. 
• Should have used any application server and has knowledge on using debugger option. 
• Flexible to work, as it requires connecting with US PROD and DEV Teams occasionally.                
• Good in written and verbal communications. 
• Should be a quick learner. 
• Knowledge or experience on Agile project development.
• Understanding of Build process using Jenkins or any other build tool.
