The Automation Developer role (AD) sits within the Automation Group (AMG), which is in turn part of Phenom’s larger One Global Delivery Organization (OGD). With over 275 people, OGD consists of 3 main service lines focused solely on the goal of getting customers live on our TXM platform on time, to budget and to a consistently high standard of quality, delivery experiences that delight along the way.

Automation Developer is an IT expert specialized in programming and development of a variety of applications (program scripting, big data manipulation, web servers etc.) using the popular programming languages like Java or Python.

 

Responsibilities:

·      Write reusable, testable, and efficient code

·      Design and implement of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

·      Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic

·      Implementation of security and data protection

·      Develop and maintain code to integrate with various tools and technologies

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements

·      Document code and maintain accurate records of integration processes

·      Test and debug code to ensure proper functionality

·      Integration of data storage solutions

·      Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation

·      Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards are met

·      Work collaboratively with design team to understand end user requirements to provide technical solutions and for the implementation of new software features

·     Continuously update skills and knowledge to stay up to date with industry standards

Must Have Skills - Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

·      0 to 2 years of previous working experience as a Java or Python Developer and familiarity  with frameworks like Spring Boot.

·      BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

·      Strong understanding of web services, APIs, and integration patterns

·      Experience with an agile development, continuous integration, continuous development environment (CICD) and tools such as: Git and JIRA

·      Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

·      Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries

·      Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.

·      Highly accurate and detail-oriented.

 

Nice To Have Skills

 

·      Experience in Talent Acquisition/Talent Management technology and processes

·      Experience with various technologies doing integrations and configuration

·      Functional platform expert: You are becoming a functional expert in the business domains of the Phenom TXM platform (CX/EX/IX/MX/RX)
