1. Project Associate (BSC Developer)

No. of Posts 2 (Two)
Place of Posting Initial place of posting will be C-DAC, Chennai. However the selected candidates may be transferred to any other office/project sites in India or abroad
Duration of the position Initially for a period of 01 (One) year or co-terminus with the project whichever is earlier.
Educational Qualification & Experience
  • * 1st Class (60% or equivalent CGPA) B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree Or
  • * 1st Class (60% or equivalent CGPA) Post Graduate Degree in Science/Computer Applications or relevant domain(s) as required by the project Or
  • * M.E/M.Tech or equivalent degree Or
  • Ph. D in relevant discipline
Required Knowledge and Skill Set
  • Basic Programming skills in C/C++/Python/Shell/Java/Php
  • Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux OS
  • • Fundamentals of ‘C’ and exposure to shell scripting
  • Basic knowledge of Cryptographic algorithms and their implementation
  • Exposure to formal methods, formal verification of software/ hardware systems
  • Good debugging, problem solving / analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • • Good Communication in English and Hindi
Job Description Development of the application based on Open Source & Customization in BOSS Linux variants
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 34,000/- per month (The pay will be fixed based on work experience for deserving candidates).
Maximum Age Below 30 years as on the last date prescribed for registration of application. Relaxation as per Government of India norms.

  • Work Experience required- 1-2 Years

  • Domain Management, Mail Services & Virtualization tools.
  • Qt (C++), MySQL, Apache Web Server and software testing
  • Basic Programming skills & Good Communication in English and Hindi
  • C/C++/Python/Shell Scripting
  • Basic knowledge of Linux OS
  • Good debugging, problem solving / analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
