The company hires graduates through its TCS Smart Hiring program. The announcement page read: "TCS Smart Hiring is exclusively for BCA, B.Sc (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Computer Science), B.Voc in CS/IT from the year  2020, 2021 and 2022.

“Students who achieve outstanding results in our TCS Smart Hiring selection process will have the opportunity to join the TCS Ignite – TCS “Science to Software” program.

Step 1.Access the TCS Next Step portal here

Step 2. Register and apply for the Smart Hiring Scenario A process. If you are a registered user,  login and  complete the Drive'Scenario B application form. If you are a new user,  click on "Register now", choose the "IT" category  and  fill in your details. Submit the request form and click "Request Drive"

Step 3.Select your test mode  (InCentre or Remote) and click "Apply"

Step 4. To confirm your status, select "Track your question". The state should reflect as “Asking for Assistance” Other recent graduate hires. The company  also announced the TCS Atlas Hiring Program for Graduates, previous years in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Explaining its Atlas Hiring Program, the IT major said, "TCS Atlas Hiring is designed exclusively for extraordinary talents with a passion for innovation and those who believe they can reinvent how businesses work through a data center approach.From the 2020, 2021 and 2022 pass year, only full-time postgraduate courses majoring in mathematics/statistics/economics will be considered (part-time/correspondence courses will not be considered ).

NextStep Portal Your application status must be "Application Received" and above. Prepare your CT/DT ID  and update it on the link provided in Step 2. Scenario A: If you already have a CT/DT ID, please login to the TCS Next Step portal (click here) and fill in the application form.

Scenario B: If you are a new user, please login to the TCS Next Step portal (click here). Click on "Register now", choose the "IT" category, fill in your details and submit the application form. 2nd step.Finally, click here to apply for the TCS Atlas job.

This is a mandatory step. Note: Multiple entries from the same candidate will result in disqualification.

TCS recruited 28,238 people in the third quarter of December 2021, a mix of recent engineering graduates and parallel hires with an established workforce of over 5 lakhs with a diverse workforce of 147 nationalities.

In fiscal 2022, it said  it hired  34,000 freshmen for the entire second semester through the third quarter and will likely hire more in the fourth quarter.

However, business abandonment fell from 11.9% in the second quarter to 15.3%, but remains below  industry levels. At the end of December, TCS had 556,986 employees in its workforce with more than 200,000 women representing 36% of its workforce.
