To start your career as an associate in the Amazon Customer Service team, you need to meet the below requirements:

  • Minimum education qualification is 10+2 Pass (candidates should not be pursuing any fulltime course)

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Flexible with 24/7 shift (Day/Night Shifts) and rotational week offs

  • Minimum 10Mbps wired internet connection at home

  • Active individual bank account, PAN card and E-Aadhaar card

  • Flexible to support multiple skill sets (Voice & Non-voice) irrespective of the original skill

Consumer Customer Service - Virtual:

An Amazon Virtual Customer Service (VCS) Associate is a critical part of our mission to deliver timely, accurate and professional customer service to all Amazon customers. This vital position requires an action-oriented, flexible problem-solver who will assist customers in expediting orders and correcting post-sales problems.

VCS Associates communicate with customers primarily through mail, chat and phone and utilize a variety of software tools to navigate customer accounts, research and review policies and communicate effective solutions in a fun and fast-paced environment. It is a ‘Work from Home’ model for India CS. VCS associates are expected to work from a home location approved by Amazon for all scheduled hours.

It is the responsibility of the associates to ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity and ‘work-like’ environment at home location so that associates can deliver their best in terms of productivity and quality

Shipping & Delivery Support (SDS) - Virtual

Shipping and Delivery Support team facilitates flow of information between different stakeholders (Delivery Associates/Delivery Service Providers/Station Managers/Customer Service Associates/Drivers) and resolves any potential issues that impacts customer experience and delivery performance.

A SDS Associate provides timely resolution to the issue in hand by researching & querying internal tools, by taking real-time decisions and having an effective communication with the stakeholders (over phone or email). An ideal candidate should be able to understand the issue and be able to drive Customer Experience without compromising on time.

The candidate should have the basic understanding of Logistics and should be able to communicate clearly in the verbal and written form. The role will require the candidate to communicate with the stakeholders over the phone. SDS Associate acts as the primary interface between Amazon and our delivery partners, so to our delivery partners - you represent Amazon.

SDS Associates are expected to identify Delivery Partner concerns and work on troubleshooting delivery partner issues and provide process improvement suggestions. It is a ‘Work from Home’ model for India CS. SDS-VCS associates are expected to work from a home location approved by Amazon for all scheduled hours.

Digital Devices Technical Support - Virtual:

Virtual Technical Support (VTS) - It is a ‘Work from Home’ model for India D2 VTS which deals with Devices & Digital content. VTS associates are expected to work from a home location approved by Amazon for all scheduled hours. It is the responsibility of the associates to ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity and ‘work-like’ environment at home location so that associates can deliver their best in terms of productivity and quality.
