DBATU Examination Pattern and Marking Scheme 2022

End Semester Exam Pattern:

The Paper will be of 60 Marks (Offline written) in which 5 questions of 12 marks each will be there.

In 5 questions there may be 2 / 3 subquestions of 6 OR 4 Marks each. The subquestions may be in descriptive or objective (MCQ or short question).

All 5 questions are compulsory and students will be given only single answer sheet for this (no supplements).

About Internal/continuous Assesment:

Internal assessments includes various activities regarding subject.
BATU University promotes the practical knowledge of students so it includes folllwing activities any two activities for 10 marks each or only one for 20 marks:

  • - assignments
  • - Mini projects
  • - reports
  • - case studies
  • - Model making
  • - Mini application
  • - presentations
  • - Group discussions[for communication skills]
  • - surprise tests
  • - Class test
  • - quiz

These activities are performed in college itself and considered in final evaluation of marking


About Practical exam

Practical exams have two phases

  1. - practical execution
  2. - Viva

viva are conducted by externals from another college


For students admitted in academic year 2019-20 in first year have separate passing criteria , therefore it is mandatory for them to score minimum of 20 marks from 60 mark end semester examination Visit for Seprate passing criteria
