So here it goes... Scholarships Available October 2022 Scholarships are awarded as a philanthropic effort to support and encourage deserving students, particularly those who are unable to fund their studies without financial support.

Many other student scholarships have been awarded during the pandemic. introduced in India to help children and young people who have lost their parents or the family's main source of income.

Here is a List of Scholarship Opportunities in India. The application deadline is October, 2022.

Pragati Scholarship AICTE

Pragati Scholarship AICTE has a program to support girls pursuing technical education, supporting them and helping them advance in this field. This initiative, called "Empowering Women Through Technical Education," aims to give young women the opportunity to further their education and prepare them for a successful future.

To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must be in their first or second year (lateral entry) at an AICTE-accredited institution. Candidates receive
INR 50,000 per year for each year of graduation.

It is important to note that a maximum of two girls from one family can apply for the scholarship and annual family income should not exceed 8 lakh.

Saksham Scholarship AICTE

Saksham Scholarship AICTE runs the MHRD Saksham program which encourages and supports children with disabilities to pursue technical education.

To be eligible, a candidate must be admitted to the first  or  second year (via lateral entry) of a college-level program at an AICTE-accredited institution for that year. It is important to note that any candidate applying for this scholarship will be considered eligible with a 40% disability.

Candidates are paid   INR 50,000 per year for each academic year, up to a maximum of four years for first year students and three years for sophomore students.

AICTE Swanath Scholarship

AICTE launches Swanath Scholarship program to encourage and support orphans who have lost one or both parents due to COVID-19; children of members of the armed forces; and children of the Central Paramilitary Forces who died in the line of duty (Shaheed) to continue their education.

Applicants who are studying a bachelor’s or diploma program at an AICTE-accredited institute in the regular mode are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Candidates earn  INR 50,000 per year, up to a maximum of four years for first year students and 3 years for second year students (via side entry).
