The Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering - GATE 2023 is hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. It is jointly conducted by IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee and  Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc) Bangalore.

GATE 2023 Notification

The exam is organized on behalf of the National Coordinating Board-GATE (NCB) and the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. GATE 2023 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will take  exams in twenty-nine subject areas, with the option of choosing two papers in some subjects.

The exam will test the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering, science, humanities and social sciences.The candidate who is currently  in his third year or more of an undergraduate  program or has completed a state degree in  Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Science/Commerce/Arts is eligible. Qualification for GATE is helpful when seeking approval and/or funding.

Support for:

(i) masters and direct doctoral programs in engineering/technology/architecture and

(ii) doctoral programs in relevant branches of arts and sciences in the  institutions  supported by the Ministry of Education and other government agencies. Employers (PSUs) have used the GATE score in their hiring processes.

GATE 2023 Dates

The exam will take place on February 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th, 2023.The online application portal will open for  registration in the first week of September 2022. Test details will be announced at GATE 2023. Registration for  GATE 2023 starts in August and runs until September.

The presentation date ends on September 14th. the form for which no additional records are allowed. The admission ticket for GATE will be released in 2023.The results will be available in March 2023. After that, the register will be available for candidates to fill out.

The best thing about the GATE exam is that it has no age limits. Candidates of any age limit can register for the same exam. Two new tests have been added to  GATE.They are low on the curriculum and students can get grades quickly.

GATE 2023 lets candidates  appear in a total of two jobs. It includes multiple choice exams as well as numeric answer questions.

Students in the last year of a technology or engineering graduate program can apply for GATE 2023.

GATE says age is not a necessary point here. Instead, they focus on the candidate's ability and intelligence to pass the exam and reach great heights.

Age Limit: There is no age limit or age restriction for students.Therefore, candidates of any age can apply for GATE 2023.

Nationality candidates from India can easily apply for the GATE exam.

GATE 2023 fees

If the candidate is female and belongs to the Scheduled Tribe, Schedule caste, and Persons with Disabilities, they must submit the application fees of Rs. 750. The fees for other candidates are Rs. 1500. For the international candidates, the fees are $50.
