Future new and emerging technologies initiatives were launched to educate, retrain, upskill, practice, teach and employ one million students. In an important step, the All India Council for Technical Education of the Ministry of Education (GoI) has launched training initiatives.

In a letter to vice-chancellors of all universities and rectors of all colleges/institutes, the University Grants Commission (UGC) said that the launch of the Digital Skills Initiative is a vision to make our country "India as a technological capital".
"AICTE will initiate a campaign titled 'Technology for every Indian student' aimed at assessing, training, practicing, practicing, performing, certifying and hiring," the UGC statement reads.
Letter.The internship portal was developed to make it easier for students to search for suitable internship offers for better employability. In this portal, both students and industry can register and offer internships to industries to improve students' practical skills.
Colleges and their affiliated universities/institutions are asked to distribute the information to students and encourage them to enroll in the Digital Skills Initiatives for their benefit and to improve their skills,” the letter added.
