Fake Notice on offline examinations circulating : UGC

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has warned college students towards a faux notice claiming to be UGC notification which says that every universities will conduct semester examination in offline mode.

The Commission has now no longer issued this sort of word, it clarified. “A public word concerning offline examinations in universities is circulating on social media & claims to be issued with the aid of using ugc_india.

 

This public word is #FAKE! University Grants Commission has NOT issued this sort of word,” UGC stated in a tweet. “As all the institutions are working even as retaining Covid-19 protocols, offline checks may be taken at the house centres,” the faux word read. However, the UGC has now no longer issued any word on offline checks for semester checks. Students are counseled to hold checking ugc.ac.in for any replace on checks.

The faux word added, “..all the colleges are hereby counseled to behavior all of the present day and destiny semester examinations in offline mode of their domestic facilities with retaining COVID-19 protocols.” “Universities are asked to take right precautionary measures for the training of engaging in examinations in offline mode,” the faux word in addition read.

Earlier in December 2021 too, PIB warned college students towards the equal word being circulated on social media claiming to be UGC’s respectable notification on behavior of offline semester checks in all universities.
