The most beneficial scholarship scheme of the Maharashtra state is known as the Maharashtra direct benefit transfer scholarship for the year 2021and 2022 .answers for certain questions such as the eligibility criteria for the different and separate schemes of scholarship that is launch in the Maharashtra DBT portal. 

Maharashtra Scholarship 2022: The Government Of Maharashtra is the official authority that disseminates the Mahadbt Maharashtra Scholarship. However, in order to apply for Maharashtra Mahadbt Scholarship, the candidate must have a domicile of the Maharashtra State. Furthermore, Govt. scholarships in Maharashtra are provided to the underprivileged yet deserving & meritorious students. Furthermore, the State of Maharashtra has the second-highest literacy rate in the country. Also, it has one central university, 19 state universities & 21 deemed universities, which provide the state students to pursue higher education. Moreover, the Maharashtra State also provides hassle-free education via Mahadbt Scholarships to the students of Maharashtra which includes SC, ST, VJNT, OBC, EBC.

TYPES MAHADBT SCHOLARSHIP

The following number of Mahadbt Scholarships are present in different categories of scholarships:-

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR MAHADBT SCHOLARSHIP

The following documents are required while applying for the Mahadbt Scholarship transfer scholarship:-

• Income Certificate (Provided by Tahsildar)
• Cast Certificate.
• Cast Validity Certificate
• Mark sheet for last appeared examination
• Mark sheet for SSC or HSC
• Father date Certificate(if required)
• Hostel Certificate (if required)
• CAP round allotment letter

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MAHADBT SCHOLARSHIP

The eligibility criteria for different scholarship schemes present under the Mahadbt Scholarship is given below:-

Scholarship	Eligibility Criteria
Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship	The annual income should be less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lakh. The student should belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) or Navbouddha category. The student must be a resident of Maharashtra. The student should have passed SSC/equivalent matric. Only two professional courses are allowed.
Post Matric Tuition Fee and Examination Fee (Freeship)	The annual income should not exceed above INR 2.5 Lakh. The student’s category should be Scheduled Caste (SC) or Neo Buddhist. The student should be a resident of Maharashtra. The student should have passed SSC/equivalent matric. The student’s institute should be located in Maharashtra recognized by the Government. The students should admit through CAP round only for Professional Courses
Maintenance Allowance for Students Studying in Professional Courses	The students should be admitted to professional courses. The students should be the scholarship holder of the Government of India. The family annual income should less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lakh. The students who are studying in the professional curriculum and residing in Hostel (Government or Institutes Hostel or outside).
Rajarshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship	The student should belong to SC category. There is no income limit for the scholarship. Students must be studying in class 11th or 12th. Students should secure 75% and above in class 10th. The student should be a resident of Maharashtra
Post-Matric Scholarship for Persons with Disability	The students who are disabled are eligible to apply. (40% or above) The students should be residents of Maharashtra. The students should be studying at a recognised university or institute. The scholarship will not be applicable if the candidate fails or quits the same course.

 

MAHADBT SCHOLARSHIP ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

To apply for the Maharashtra scholarship you need to follow the simple steps given below:-

• First, visit the Mahadbt Website 
• Click the New Registration button.
• Enter Aadhaar Number
• Click on the “Send OTP” button.
• Login using your credentials.
• Choose the Scheme.
• Fill the Application Form
• Upload the documents
• Submit the Maha DBT Scholarship Application Form.
• Take a print out
• Last Date for All scholarship program is 31st Jan 2021( Date may vary)

1. Rules for application for re-applying any scheme In A.Y. 2021-22

Before applying application to any scheme for A.Y. 2021-22, all your applications from previous year i.e. A.Y. 20-21 should be disposed. Disposed means the status of the application must be Approved, Rejected, Allotted or Disbursed. Please note, you cannot apply the application for A.Y. 20-21 if your application is in under scrutiny or send back status. As we have clarified the cases below, the applicant must follow the steps as per your applicable case
