Mode of Upcoming Examinations - Check what Minister Uday Samant said in recent press conference

Recently The Department of Higher and Technical Education of the Government of Maharashtra has signed a MOU with Infosys. Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant tweeted about it. The MoU with Infosys will benefit 4 million students pursuing higher education in the state. Students will be able to take skill based courses with the help of Infosys, said Uday Samant.

While interacting with press , He said that there is no planning with Infosys to conduct the online examinations. The recent MOU is for only skill development.He also mentioned that in previous year Online Exams were taken only because there were no option other than it. Parents and students was worried about their health therefore it was not possible to conduct offline examinations.But now as the covid cases are decreasing day by day , Government started to take offline examinations. Samant said that Online exam is not permanent solution for the situation so Government is not planning to conduct any online examination with infosys.

Minster Samant also talked on the latest vaccination drive arranged for students , Government has arranged a vaccination drive for students where more than 1.5 Lakh students benefited. Government allowed only complete vaccinated students to allow for attending the colleges , the problems comes where the student has taken a dose of covishield because it's second dose will be after 84 days. But Samant mentioned that now most of the students have fully vaccinated and they are attending their physical lectures at college.

Talking about the new varient , minister Uday Samant mentioned that the new guidelines issued by government should be strictly followed and till now no case of Amicron is there in Maharashtra therefore there will be no any effect of it on college classes.
