What exactly is backlog? The word backlog is used to refer to the number of failed courses that haven't yet been cleared. Sometimes, it can just be used to refer such yet-to-be-cleared courses at the end of the fourth (normally, the final) year.One backlog in engineering won't ruin your career.Backlog doesn't mean you have less knowledge in that subject. Always remember that; in engineering sometimes getting with the exams is like adjusting with the system. Ups and downs are the part of engineering.A company like TCS sometimes allows 1 year drop in campus placements.

Getting backlogs may have different meanings and different effects:

1. Getting some backlogs and still completing B.E. in 4 years - does not affect much

2. Getting backlogs and completing B.E. in 5 years - Still manageable

3. Getting backlogs and completing B.E. in 6 or 6+ years - Little more difficult

In todays date , many of companies are offering jobs even if you are in case 3.But the major problem is finding that companies.Solution for the problem is quite simple. 

Choose one particular skill , may be one or two and keep practicing it . Master the particular skill for getting opportunity for your career.
