As demand for digital services explodes, there's a huge demand for IT professionals. This in turn is leaving geeks with a lot of options to explore leading to leaves and advanced attrition.

With demand so grandly, job- applicants are supposedly negotiating contemporaneously with three to four companies on average, for better offers.
So to attack this situation and insure vacuity of needed force to serve customer demands, IT recruiters are trying desperately to get their hands on talent. As per reports, IT companies are shortlisting at least five applicants to fill up a single vacant position.

Pertaining a business daily, a public media (Times now) reported that IT companies and recruiters are now keeping a shortlist of at least five campaigners for one job part while hiring.
The report cited the CEO of a hiring consultancy establishment saying that tech hiring has come a headache for guests and advisers. Top functionary were quoted saying that they're looking at having five to six back- over campaigners for each vacant post, but still, there's no certainty in success.

The waste rate in India's top IT companies touched nearly 21 in the September quarter. During the September quarter, IT major Wipro reported waste of 20.5, followed by Infosys at 20.1 and TCS at 11.9.
The major point then's that waste remains elevated despite massive payment hikes, elevations, daily lagniappes, hand- engagement enterprise like reskilling and upskilling.
