Colleges reopening ,Upcoming Exams , Attendance , Hostels | Campus reopening after Diwali

Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant informed that the college will start functioning from October 20. And Government working on continuing the education in previous format. Also Government released SOPs related to the functioning of offline classes in colleges.

The authority to start more than 50% of university college classes has been given to the local authority, said Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant. He was speaking at a press conference.

Here are Again some more questions that students asked Minister Samant in recent events:

1.Exam Online / Offline ?

Government is planning for make education in the stage that it was before the Covid. Students should make their minds ready for the offline exams. Mr. Samant also mentioned that Online was only adjustments and it was not possible to conduct the examinations in offline mode when covid waves was undergoing. Now Government is vaccinating students and taking every precautions to reopen the colleges. He mentioned that this time government planning to take more offline examinations but if anywhere there cannot be an offline exam then there will be online examinations.

2.Hostel reopenings:

Universities are instructed to reopen the hostels also but in some hostels there are qurantine centers , but wherever the hostels are free they can be reopened with a limited capacity. If Covid third wave won't come then government planning to reopen the hostels with 100 % capacity.

3.How about jobs after covid , is there any disadvantages to jobs?

Students are worried about their degrees that if there will be any "COVID batch" mentioned in the degrees or any company won't allow the job when they are passout in 2020 , 2021. Minister Samant assured that there will be no effect of this covid on their future. Also if any company is making an effect of covid in students jobs then that organization may face government actions.

4. If someone cannot attend the colleges due to some issues?

If student completed their 2 doses of vaccine then they can attend the colleges. Also students need to attend colleges after complete vaccination. Currently for few days attendance for offline classes is not that much compulsory but in coming time , attendance will be important for students. So students should prepare for getting back to colleges.

All students should prepare themselfs to be ready for the colleges in offline mode and pray that third wave should not come. If third wave not came then everything will be normal again.
