After the announcement of the salary hike by the tech giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), many other giants came out with such announcements. These announcements are made by the companies when they are facing a quality talent shortage.
Here are some of the major hike announcements made by tech giants over the past few days.
Infosys announces salary hike for employees; effective from July 2021
Speaking at Infosys' 40th AGM, held virtually, COO Pravin Rao stated that the demand is picking up as the markets are opening slowly and companies are now on hiring spree. This is increasing the attrition rate in FY21 as compared to last year.
Infosys has announced that it will be rolling out salary hikes effective July 2021, this is the second hike in the calendar year, as the company aims to manage attrition and retain talent. The company had earlier rolled out a salary hike in January 2021.
3. Grofers to offer 33% salary hike to techies
On Monday, Grofers announced a 33% salary hike for the techies with hefty ESOP allocation. The hike will be effective from July 2021.
4. PwC to roll out 75% of the hike in variable pay
PricewaterhouseCoopers Private Limited is all set to offer the hike in variable pay for the Indian employees. The company granted a one-time bonus earlier this year and now is also offering vouchers from Rs 25,000 to 50,000.
