As per The Academic Council's Minutes of 15th AC Meeting held on April 25, 2020, as circulated to all members , the structure is to be tentatively conducted throughout current even semester i.e for IVth , VIth & VIIIth semester. First year admitted students would also have the same structure for their both Ist & IInd semester.

Mid Semester Examinations and Internal Sessional Examinations for B.TECH shall be conducted by all Colleges using ICT tools like Google form / Moodle etc. Questions should be objec tive type. Efforts must be made by every faculty member to cover every student in the class. NO STUDENT SHOULD BE LEFT OUT. Appropriate methods should be used.

Mid Sem. Exam. Engineering / Architecture: Teacher may preferably prepare 60 questions for each subject.  Software shall pick up 20 random questions out of 60. This examination can also be an online quiz.

Mid-Sem. Exam. Pharmacy/HMCT: Faculty may preferably prepare 180 questions for each subject. Software shall pick up 60 random questions out of 180.This examination can also be an online quiz.

However, the individual Institute should be given flexibility of choosing Mode of Examination and Question Papers, keeping the most important point of covering all the students, without missing any student.

The Continuous Evaluation Marks of 40 [20 for Internal Assessment and 20 for MidSemester] shall be extrapolated for 40 Marks.

Awarding Grades for Field Internship:

Field Internship: Following shall be the options to filed internship Student can opt for online internship.

OR

Student can do any online course of minimum two week duration through any of MOOC Platform and submit certificate to institute,

OR Student can opt for internship offered by institute.

Promotion of Students to Next Academic Year:

Restriction of carrying forward a maximum of Five (5) Subjects shall NOT BE APPLIED to the students during 2020-21 Academic Year.

However, 2-3 Opportunities shall be given to students so that they clear backlog subjects by the end of 2020-21 Academic Year for promotion to next AY 2021-22.

This provision will be applicable to the Academic Year 2020-21 Only.

For Final Year students :

It is resolved to offer only 2 Courses (Core or Electives) during VIII Semester of Jan. – May 2021 Session.

Except for these Two Courses, the entire Semester shall be dedicated to either Internship with Industry / Govt. Organisations or In-house Project Work offered by the Institute, carrying 15 Credits

Choice shall be given to the students from VII Semester itself to take these courses on Self Study basis, through appropriate Online Platforms / other Institutions / Universities. Students can give exams for such courses online with the Platform they registered and get Credits after giving exam from those Platforms. University will provide Credit Transfer for these courses.

Otherwise, Students can also opt for choosing courses Online for these Two subjects, and examination for the same will be conducted by the University, in usual manner.
