Colleges across Maharashtra might remain closed for some more days

Maharashtra facing sudden hike in covid cases since some days therefore there is still question mark on reopening of colleges . College reopening decision was taken few days before , colleges were allowed to reopen in offline phase from 15 Feb 2021.

Colleges in Mumbai that were preparing for partial reopening are now waiting to next instructions to reopen, following a rise in the number of reported cases of Covid-19. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) decided to remain colleges shut for further some days.

Government already imposed lockdown in some districts , therefore colleges will remain closed . The Wardha district administration on Friday announced its decision to impose curfew in the district from 8 am Saturday (February 20) to 8 am Monday (February 22). During the curfew, everything except medical stores and urgent services will remain closed. Petrol pumps have also been asked to remain closed. Therefore colleges across wardha districts will remain closed till next instructions.

The administration in the Yavatmal district ordered curbs on gatherings and also the closure of schools & colleges (which had reopened for select classes) for ten days.Schools (for students from Classes 5 to 9), colleges, and coaching classes in the Yavatmal district will remain closed till February 28.

Looking conditions of covid , Colleges across Maharashtra are likely to be remained closed for february atleast , but still no official circular is not published for colleges .

Education will be continued in online phases & students don't need to be worried for examinations ; Students are informed to be prepared for examinations . Exams might be conducted as per schedule in online mode.
