In this regard, on February 1, all the Vice-Chancellors were contacted through video conferencing. Colleges will be started as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission dated November 5, 2020, depending on the availability of space. The colleges will be started from February 15, said Uday Samant.

Following the demand of students and parents, we are starting the college with 50 per cent attendance from next 15th February as per UGC guidelines. Uday Samant also said that as the college will start late, it will have a small effect on the results.

Both online and offline options for the exam
The state government has given permission to start the college as per the guidelines of UGC. Those who cannot attend college will have the option of online classes, said Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant.
