1) Harold Lasswell Scholarship Program

We are glad to announce the 'Harold Lasswell Scholarship Program' for Researchers from across the fields to give them an opportunity to pursue interdisciplinary research in their respective areas.

The Scholarship isn't only a money related bursary and is an open door for extraordinary performers with the possibility to have any kind of effect for good on the planet. Harold Lasswell Scholars are individuals who have a dream of how the world could be better and the vitality to have any kind of effect – whatever their circle of intrigue and is offered to outstanding intellect, character, leadership, and commitment to service. The scholarship is awarded annually to two select candidates who have demonstrated sustained excellence throughout their academic career and promise a potential to conduct interdisciplinary research which can contribute significantly to the development of a community of researchers and have a broad range of influence.

Scholarship Benefits:

•  Up-to USD 1000 grant-in-aid as a research support.
• Full sponsorship for an independent book project with additional monetary and technical support.

Who can apply?

This scholarship program is designed for researchers from within and outside the organisation.

The selection would be made on the basis of:

•  Potential to make an impact through research
•  Academic credentials

A committee of experts shall be set up for the review of proposal followed by an interview.

KSCSTE Prathibha Scholarship Programme 2020-21 for Science Students

The scholarship  is awarded to students of Kerala origin who have qualified meritoriously in the Higher Secondary Examination, for pursuing Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree courses in Basic/ Natural Science in Institutions/ Universities in India.  The objective of the program is to motivate aspiring students to higher studies and a career in Science.

• Eligibility: Applicant should be of Kerala origin. Applicant should have qualified Higher Secondary Examination from Kerala. Applicant should have qualified Higher Secondary Board Examination with minimum 90% marks or equivalent grade for all subjects put together and minimum 90% marks or equivalent grade for all Science subjects put together.(For SC/ST reservation category, the eligibility is stipulated to minimum marks of 80% or equivalent grade for all subjects in total and minimum 80% marks or equivalent grade for all Science subjects in total). Applicant should have secured admission for B.Sc. /Integrated M.Sc. / Integrated BS-MS course in Basic or Natural Science (23 subjects enlisted in the ‘guidelines’) in any of the Institutions or Universities in India in 2019-20.
• Benefits: U.G. Course/ First 3 years of Integrated P.G. Course- 1^st Year: ₹12,000/-, 2^nd Year: ₹18,000/- & 3^rd Year: ₹24,000/-. P.G. Course (subject to scoring minimum 75% marks for Undergraduate course): 1^st Year/ 4^th Year of Integrated P.G. Course: ₹40,000/-: 2^nd Year/ 5^th Year of Integrated P.G. Course: ₹60,000/-
