Talking in the live interaction with students, teachers, and parents on Thursday education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' said that the government has no plan to cancel NEET 2021.
CBSE Practical Exam 2021: Alternative options to be given if situation does not improve
Answering a question regarding CBSE exams, the education minister said that if students are not able to go to schools for practical exams, alternate options will be given.
"17 states have reopened their schools with minimal attendance, other states will decide based on the pandemic situations," Pokhriyal says.
We could hold JEE, NEET exams on time
"We could conduct the JEE Main and NEET exams on time amid pandemic keeping in mind that a precious year of students should not get wasted," the minister added.

This year JEE main April exams held in September due to pandemic
JEE (Main), which is the national level competitive test for admission to various undergraduate engineering and architecture courses, including the eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced) for admission to the IITs is conducted twice a year – January and April. However, due to the COVID-19 situation the April 2020 exams had to be conducted in September and admissions for the 2020-21 academic session is still underway in many institutions.
First cycle of JEE-Main likely to be held end Feb
The first cycle of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-main) 2021 will be held in the last week of February instead of January. However, the application process will commence from December 2020.
Pokhriyal congratulates teachers and parents to help students adapt to the online modes of education amid pandemic
In a video shared by him on Twitter, the minister said "Respected teachers, parents and students, first of all, I would like to congratulate you all. During these hard times of the COVID-19 pandemic, both the teachers and parents helped the children adopt the new environment of online education."

Ahead of the session, the Union Minister has asked the people to share their concerns with the Education Ministry to help the students."Dear teachers, parents, and students, happy to share that I am going to live on December 10 at 10 am to talk about upcoming competitive/board exams with you.
