University affiliated colleges to start, reopen from January 1st week : SPPU , What about Dbatu & MU physical reopening ? 

As from March 2020 all the schools , colleges & institutions are closed physically and working online / learning teaching method is ongoing online from last few days . all the university students of Dbatu, SPPU, MU , BAMU, & all other universities from allover the maharashtra's physical classes are closed & students are waiting for reopning of colleges , & physical academics 

The (SPPU) and its affiliated colleges are making preparations to resume classes. The Pune varsity administration held a meeting with college principals, department heads and institute owners recently to conduct and reopen classes in offline mode 

The directors of the affiliated educational institutes and the principals of the colleges have expressed their support to start the all colleges in the first week of January. However, the colleges will be started only after discussion with the parents. Therefore, it has become clear that colleges in Pune, Ahmednagar and Nashik districts will start and the new year will dawn.

SPPU organised a two-day interaction programme with principals of various affiliated colleges from Pune, Nashik and Ahmednagar districts recently to chalk out future plans. SPPU vice-chancellor Prof Nitin Karmalkar attended the event.

“In the first session, principals of colleges running professional courses were called for interaction and those teaching non-professional courses were covered in the second session. We discussed many issues, including the dates to restart colleges, safety of students and how to take classroom lectures. All agreed to resume classes by following all necessary Covid safety precautions,” said Prof Karmalkar.

After the state government gave permission to start classes IX to XII in the state, Savitribai Phule Pune University had shown positive attitude towards starting affiliated colleges. The decision to start the college was to be taken on Tuesday after discussions with the principals of the affiliated colleges on behalf of the university

 

Accordingly, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Principal of Vocational and Vocational Colleges. Nitin Karmalkar interacted online. It was decided to start colleges in the first week of January. 

Dr. Nitin Karmalkar said that on Tuesday morning, he discussed with the directors of educational institutes like Engineering, Pharmacy, MBA, MCA Architecture and in the afternoon with the principals of traditional colleges. Everyone favored starting a college. The issue of limitations in online education was also raised at the meeting. But, another wave of corona is predicted to come 

 

Therefore, the overall situation will be estimated in December. After that, after discussing with all the parents, the college should start in the last week of December or the first week of January. We will need to teach in both online and offline modes to cover the subjects. Suggestions from parents and students regarding restarting of colleges will be sought through Google forms,” Karmalkar said.

 

The Guardian Minister has decided not to start anything in Nashik district till January 4. At the same time, the municipal administration announced the decision not to start any school in Pune city till December 13. Therefore, the decision to start the college in January would be appropriate, such a discussion is being held in the education circle.

As SPPU thinking to start academic from  January 2021 But, Still there is no update from Dbatu & MU officials about reopening of colleges & institutes . If corona pandemic will over & 2nd wave of corona pandemic will be controlled by Maharashtra Government then there is possibilities of starting all the Universities and Academics in physical manner from January 2021 .
