20 to 30 percent increase in Pune University exam results
The students have benefited from the postponement of the exams due to the increasing prevalence of corona.
Exams conducted for the first time in multiple choice format and online and offline, the time given to students to study and the low level of difficulty increased the results of university exams. The University Grants Commission and the Supreme Court had made it mandatory to take the final year exams. Accordingly, Savitribai Phule Pune University conducted the examination from 12th to 31st October.

A re-examination was also held recently for the students who were deprived of the examination. The results of some courses are one hundred percent. "So far, the results of 21 courses have been announced and all the results will be announced in the next two to three days," said the director of the university's examination and evaluation board. Mahesh Kakade said
Any fifty of the sixty questions in the online exam had to be solved. There were no negative attributes either. The students also used the practice. Therefore, the results may have increased, 'said the head of the science and technology branch, Dr. Manohar Chaskar said.

Meanwhile, the university did not have much control over online exams. s technology was not used to prevent exam malpractice. It was also alleged that the students solved the paper together or answered by taking information from the internet.
The exams were held because the Supreme Court had ruled that the exams must be held. Not enough care has been taken in conducting online and multiple choice exams. Many technical errors also occurred. So the result increased.
During the lockdown, students had more time to study. The format of the exam was also multiple choice. The level of stiffness was also slightly reduced. But, the success achieved by the students even in difficult situations is admirable.
