Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today directed that schools & colleges  from 9th to 12th & institutions standard should be started in the state after Diwali by taking proper precautions for the safety of students. Chief Minister Thackeray was speaking at a meeting organized by video conferencing. At this time, the school education minister Pvt. Varsha Gaikwad, Minister of State Bachchu Kadu, Additional Chief Secretary Vandana Krishna etc. were present.

The Chief Minister said that given the global situation, the possibility of another wave of corona cannot be ruled out. Therefore, the next few days after Diwali need to be more vigilant. Schools in which quarantine centers were set up cannot be closed. The local administration should decide whether the schools in such places can be started in an alternative space. It is necessary to take care of all matters like sanitation of schools, corona inspection of teachers.

RTPCR test for all teachers before school & colleges  starts This will be done through local administration from November 17 to 22, informed the Minister of School Education Pvt. Varsha Gaikwad gave this time. Thermal checking of students will be done in schools starting from 23rd November.

Prefinal ATKT/ Backlog of 1st , 2nd & 3rd year exams 2020 to be conducted by November 30 -MU

Students will be seated on a bench, classes will be held in a day, students should bring food from home, bring their own water bottle. There will be a four-hour school in which only difficult subjects like science, mathematics and English will be taught. There will be online classes for the rest of the subjects, including these subjects, he added. Schools & colleges should be started in stages when starting school.

Schools were closed due to corona (Maharashtra School Reopen). The economy started slowly at different stages of Maharashtra Unlock but schools and colleges remained closed. Schools  & colleges in the state will start from November 23. An SOP has been prepared in this regard and also apporoved by CM of Maharshtra
