Dbatu Notice Regarding National Scholarship Program - offered by UGC 

National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is a digital scholarship platform which carries multiple scholarships offered by the central government, state governments and different government agencies like UGC (University Grants Commission).

National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is a digital scholarship platform which carries multiple scholarships offered by the central government, state governments and different government agencies like UGC (University Grants Commission). The National Scholarship Portal hosts about 50 scholarships worth hundreds of crores for the scholarship seekers registered on the platform.  According to officials, the platform has, so far, helped the government implement and disburse scholarships  The platform boasts of more than 110 Lakh applications out of which over 85 Lakh applications are verified also.

Dbatu Official Notice : 

It is suggested to all the minority students for the undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the academic year 2020-2021 that the Merit-cum-Mines Scheme is implemented through the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi.

The scholarship is applicable to students from Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Parsi and Jain minority communities studying in vocational courses and students whose family income (combined of both parents) is up to Rs. 2.50 lakhs.

Detailed information of this scheme is given on the website of www.minorityaffairs.gov.in, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Central Government. The sanctioned amount of the scheme is deposited by the Central Government in the student's bank account under DBT.

All eligible students from minority communities can apply online for fresh and renewed scholarships using the user manual / Guideline and FAQ given on the website www.scholerships.gov.in as per the date announced by the Central Government. To be filled before 31/10/2020

Note: Students should not apply for the benefit of two schemes (both Central and State Government schemes) in the same academic year. Applications for the same scholarship should be submitted.
