Demand for Data Science Professionals is increasing rapidly worldwide. There were thousands of new jobs in this sector during August 2020 in India. In this sector, Bengaluru produces the most job opportunities in this sector. After this, Delhi-NCR is in second place.

However, now slowly business activities are returning to the track and many sectors are also giving new jobs to people. There is also a sector in this episode, which has an opening for about 100,000 people. Actually, in the data science sector in the country, at present there is a need of one lakh skilled employees.

Demand for fast growing data science professionals worldwide

 

According to education technology company Great Learning, by the end of August 2020, there were about 93,500 jobs in the data science field in India. At this time the demand for data science professionals is increasing rapidly all over the world. In August 2020, India contributed 9.8 percent of the demand for data science professionals across the world. At the beginning of the year i.e. January 2020, this figure was 7.2 percent. However, the data science sector has also been affected by the corona crisis and the vacancy has declined

In India, before the Corona era, in February 2020, there were openings for 1,09,000 professionals in the data science sector. In May 2020, this demand came down to 82,500. It again picked up and in August 2020 the number reached 93,500 openings. Bengaluru is in the forefront of creating new jobs in the data science sector. In this case, Bengaluru contributes 23 per cent and Delhi-NCR contributes 20 per cent. At the same time, Mumbai's contribution in this case is 15 percent

This qualification is required to become a data science professional

 

To make a career as a data science professional, one should have good knowledge of computer programming language. Also it is important to have maths in 12th standard. Data science related programs are being run in many institutes including NIET. Many institutes are now offering B.Tech course in Data Science (B.Tech)
