NPTEL Exam dates are announced and exam form are open now ( revised July 2020)

NPTEL is an acronym for National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning which is an initiative by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for creating course contents in engineering and science. NPTEL provides E-learning through online Web and Video courses in Engineering, Science and Humanities streams.

 

NPTEL Online Certification Courses

NPTEL is now offering online certification courses through its portal There are 4wk, 8wk set 1 and 2 as well as 12wk courses.

 

Course Enrollment

• Enrollment to Courses is FREE.
• Enrollment to courses and exam registration can be done in ONLINE mode only. The link is available on NPTEL website .
• One may enroll in as many courses as they like.

Certification Exam

• Exam Dates - Dec 18, 19, 20
• For course specific exam dates, please check our .
• NPTEL Certification exams will be held during the forenoon and afternoon sessions on these dates.
• The entire process of filling up of the application form and uploading of certificates/documents, etc. is in online mode only. The candidates should not send any hard copy of his/her application form/documents etc. to NPTEL office.
• The payment of exam registration fees is through electronic mode.

Date of exam: December 20, 2020

 Exam fees: 1000 Rs

If you register for the exam and pay before Oct 28, 10:00 AM, Exam fees will be Rs. 1000/- per exam.
and  if you register between Oct 28, 10:00 AM & Nov 02, 5:00 PM, Exam fees will be Rs. 1500/- per exam

50% off for :

Students belonging to the SC/ST category: can select Yes for the SC/ST option and you have to upload the proof.

Students belonging to the PwD category with more than 40% disability: can select Yes for the option and upload the correct Disability certificate.

 Last date for exam registration: Nov 02, 2020 5:00 PM (Friday).

 Mode of payment: Online payment - debit card/credit card/net banking.

HALL TICKET : between December 10-15, 2020

The hall ticket will be available for download at the official website by 2 weeks prior to the exam date - between December 10-15, 2020. you will get a mail on your registered email id for the update about hall ticket.

Last date for data changes: 02 Nov 2020, 5:00 PM:

 LAST DATE FOR CANCELLING EXAMS and getting a refund: 02 Nov 2020, 5:00 PM
